Teresa Schedler, who joined the Texas Center for Legal Ethics in 1998, is Director of Compliance and Operations. In that role, she oversees the implementation of an order by the Supreme Court of Texas for all newly-licensed attorneys to take the Justice James A. Baker Guide to Ethics and Professionalism in Texas. She also strives to grow Subscriptions for the TCLE through marketing and promoting the many programs TCLE offers. She’s responsible for the TCLE’s annual budget, financial oversight and yearly audit. Ms. Schedler and coordinates all TCLE board meetings and manages the organization’s staff and office.
Before coming to the TCLE, Ms. Schedler had a broad range of nonprofit experience from planning events which included a tradeshow for over 5,000 attendees with over 200 exhibiting companies, and also handled sponsorship and advertising sales on behalf of the group. She coordinated efforts to secure international speakers for the group’s events. Prior to that, Ms. Schedler worked at the Texas Physical Therapy Association, where she managed accounts, oversaw the layout of the organization’s magazines and other publications, and led in the group’s membership initiative.
