Austin Attorney Jim McCormack Receives Austin Bar Professionalism Award
The Austin Bar Association recently awarded its 2016 Professionalism Award to Austin attorney Jim McCormack at the Law Day Reception and Annual Meeting on May 3, 2016. McCormack is a past chairman of the TCLE Board of Trustees and is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the Texas Ethics Exchange. He is a former General Counsel and Chief Disciplinary Counsel of the State Bar of Texas, where he served as the chief legal ethics enforcement officer for the attorney disciplinary system in Texas. McCormack also served as an adjunct professor of law at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, where he taught professional responsibility.
