Texas Center for Legal Ethics has added the latest ethics opinions released by the Professional Ethics Committee for the State Bar, opinions #635, 636, and 637. A copy of each opinion can be found under the Resources tab on the Texas Center for Legal Ethics website.

The upcoming Justice James A. Baker Guide to the Basics of Law Practice live course in Houston is this Friday April 19, 2013 at the South Texas College of Law located at 1303 San Jacinto. Walk-in registration will be accepted as space permits. Parking is available in the Fannin Garage at 1112 Clay Street (between Fannin & San Jacinto). Check-in and registration begin at 7:30 a.m.
Fall 2013 dates for the Justice James A. Baker Guide to Ethics and Professionalism in Texas live course have been announced. Registration will begin in early summer.
TCLE will hold the Justice James A. Baker Guide to Ethics and Professionalism in Texas live course in Houston on April 19, 2013 at the South Texas Law Center. This course is mandated by the Supreme Court of Texas for all newly-licensed attorneys in Texas. Early registration is available until April 5. Register early to avoid additional fees.
Executive Director Jonathan Smaby recently moderated a panel discussion with Chief Justice Wallace Jefferson, Justice Phil Johnson and Justice Debra Lehrmann as part of the Texas Supreme Court’s visit to Austin College in Sherman to hear oral arguments.
The Supreme Court of Texas will be hearing oral argument at Austin College in Sherman on February 26th as part of the Annual Kenneth W. Street Law Symposium. The day’s events include oral argument in the morning and an afternoon CLE program.
