Former Justice O'Neill and attorney Dubose Presented with Chief Justice Jack Pope Award
Former Supreme Court of Texas Justice Harriet O’Neill of Austin and Houston attorney Kevin Dubose were awarded the 2012 Chief Justice Jack Pope Professionalism Awards at the Annual Texas Supreme Court Historical Society Dinner on June 1, in Austin. The Awards were presented by Chief Justice Wallace Jefferson. Pictured above are (left to right) former Justice O’Neill, former Chief Justice Jack Pope, and Kevin Dubose.
Both honorees not only exemplify the high standards of honesty and integrity set by Chief Justice Pope, they were early leaders in the movement to elevate standards of ethics and professionalism among Texas lawyers.
